Taylor Swift: Cyberwoman

It wasn't Taylor's first brand endorsement deal by any means, but budding tech company Cybus Industries had offered her more money than all of those previous businesses combined. While initially wary of such a lucrative offer, it was Swift's agent (and army of lawyers) who made sure that it was indeed a legitimate deal, and it wasn't long until she found herself in the halls of the company's new Silicon Valley headquarters.

The secretary stopped before a blue door marked with a silver plaque reading "Dressing Room", twisting the knob and holding it open to allow Taylor to pass. "The studio is through the double doors at the end of the hall." Before Taylor could respond, the door had already closed behind her, followed the immediate click of a deadbolt. Fluorescent lights from above suddenly activated, illuminating the grey walls of hexagonal-shaped room. The chamber was completely devoid of any mirrors or furnishings one would typically find in a dressing room, nor was there any artistic decor save for the two flat-screen televisions and a large company logo on the walls in front of her. It should have been her first warning that something was wrong.

In the center of the floor was a grey hexagon trimmed by white lights underneath, and Taylor stepped inside. The lights intensified a moment as the monitors simultaneously flashed a single line of text: "PLEASE REMOVE CYBER-DISK FROM CONTAINER." Below one of the screens, a silver rectangular drawer slid open. Taylor approached the drawer and removed it's lone contents: a silver disk, no bigger than a CD. She examined the disk before looking back up to the changed text: "REMOVE ALL ARTICLES OF CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES BEFORE ACTIVATION." The singer's eyes scanned the room for any hidden cameras, examining every nook and cranny before she was going to take anything off. Determining that the room was clean, she removed the millions of dollars worth of clothing in the center of the hexagon.

The screen then switched to a digital rendering of a woman holding the Cyber-Disk in her hand before placing it on her chest. Taylor mimicked the woman's movements, letting the disk rest in the space just below her neck. Suddenly, the disk began to buzz with life, and the sharp sting of needles dug into soft flesh where the three "Y" shaped prongs of the disk were. She winced, quickly reaching up to pull the object off, but found that it had embedded itself deep inside her. It was at that moment that she noticed her skin turning silver. The shiny substance was creeping both up and down her body, slowly spreading like a cancer. Sensations of pain and pleasure during this transformation were overwhelming, forcing the girl to her knees as it continued to take control. With every passing moment it was becoming harder and harder to resist the change, and it wasn't long before she completely surrendered herself to the artificial euphoria sweeping over her.

The silence of the waiting room outside was broken by a rapid series of beeps from the receptionist's computer, the pop-up notification on-screen reading "DRESSING ROOM 3: CONVERSION STATUS: COMPLETE." She rose from the desk and walked down the corridor, stopping outside the Dressing Room. The swipe of a keycard opened the door, revealing a silver humanoid  standing at the center of the hexagon, seemingly awaiting her arrival. The secretary gave a once-over on Taylor's new platinum figure, seeing that the transformation was a success. "If you'll follow me, they're waiting for you in down in the photography studio." Her movements were stiff and robotic, lacking the unique walk every human developed over their lifetime. There was no more record companies or concerts for Taylor to worry about anymore, her purpose now was to serve Cybus, and to long for the day when humanity would join her in submitting to the machine...

A user on DeviantArt had contacted me some time ago, inquiring about commissioning an image and story where Taylor Swift was turned into a Cyberwoman (as I had done several similar pieces in the past depicting a "unique" take on the Cybermen of Doctor Who). In the context of "my universe", Cybus Industries existed in an alternate Earth, one which they eventually assumed complete control over using nano-machines that converted the population into Cybermen and Cyberwomen. With nobody left to convert, they broke the barrier between their world and another, one in which the character of The Doctor does not exist. This image depicts the early days of Cybus in their native world, and how they used a celebrity endorsement to convince the public to purchase their body-altering products.

(Above): Taylor Swift in the middle of Cyber-conversion. One key aspect of the nanomachines is that its never painful for the subject during their transformation, in fact, many would describe it as orgasmic.

(Above): Swift's transformation is complete, her body now covered by nanomachines from head to toe.
