Emma Peel: The Mind-Morphing Machine

Image
The Ministry had received a tip that the London-based Pherum Technologies was working on a device capable of "direct synaptic interface", a more sensational way of masking the machine's true purpose to influence and control one's thoughts. Emma Peel (now an official operative of The Ministry) was sent to investigate the insider's claim, going undercover and getting hired on as a receptionist. Unfortunately for Emma, it didn't take long for Pherum to learn of the spy within their organization, and it was soon arranged that Mrs. Peel would get her up-close and personal examination of the latest model of their mind-morphing machine. With the synaptic interface device firmly fixated to Emma's temple, Pherum put their newest employee to work as a security drone, patrolling the complex in search of any would-be saboteurs or secret agents looking to stop her masters... To make a long story short, I found inspiration for this image in a recent revisit of a carto...

Susan Foreman and Barbara Wright Pin-Up

Image
Recently, I did a remastered version of Prisoners of The Spiders with Susan and Barbara, and it got me wanting to do something else with them. I wanted to do something in the vein of the Rose and Donna pin-ups from a few months ago inspired by the Doctor Who DVD re-releases, but decided to make it more like a "lost" promotional image with the two (taken on what is clearly a television studio set). It's simple, but I like how it turned out. Susan Foreman and Barbara Wright Pin-Up on DeviantArt

April O'Neil: Correspondent In A Catsuit

A latex take on April's "classic" costume, sported here by Judith Hoag (who portrayed April in the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action film in 1990).    April O'Neil: Correspondent In A Catsuit on DeviantArt

Rose Tyler Pin-Up

Image
Felt like doing something with Rose after reading through Titan's Doctor Who: Empire of The Wolf comic series this month. This image's background is inspired by those DVD re-releases of the early Doctor Who series we got here in the United States a few years ago. Rose Tyler Pin-up on DeviantArt

Jurassic World: Claire Dearing

Image
Located on the tropical paradise of Isla Nublar, the Jurassic World resort is one of the most popular vacation destinations on the planet. While many would be overwhelmed with running an attraction such as this, it's nothing that the park's operations manager Claire Dearing can't handle. An image that I started to work on before Christmas, and just finished up now in honor of the new Jurassic World: Dominion trailer dropping this week.   Jurassic World: Claire Dearing on DeviantArt

Ghostbusters: Janine Suits Up

Image
The sardonic receptionist of the leading team of experts in supernatural elimination, the hobbies of Ms. Melnitz include reading, racquetball, and dressing up in latex suits. In honor of the home video release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife this week. Inspired by the "green clouds" poster for the original film.   Janine looks better in the light sandy-beige "classic" suit. Unfortunately, her Real Ghostbusters counterpart got stuck with a bright pink and red costume instead . Ghostbusters: Janine Suits Up on DeviantArt

Back To The Future: Clara REMASTERED

Image
In the year 1991, Doctor Emmett L. Brown opened the Institute of Future Technology, a facility dedicated to the study of time travel and the creation technological advancements. Clara Clayton Brown (the good Doctor's wife, the mother of his children, and a native of the late 19th Century) volunteered to become one of the institute's "Temporal field agents", traveling across time for various tasks and experiments. Here we find Mrs. Brown and her personal DeLorean time vehicle in the building's "runway", fresh from an adventure in the not too distant year of 2015. Another REMASTERED post. The original version of this image was BttF: Clara's Day Out , released in May, 2020 (but was actually made some months prior, if I recall correctly). Back To The Future fans might remember the Institute of Future Technology from the old BttF: The Ride at the Universal Studios theme parks around the world!   Back To The Future: Clara REMASTERED on DeviantA...

Princess Leia: Rebel Spy REMASTERED

Image
Two years ago, I made the Princess Leia: Rebel Spy series of images, and they ended up becoming my first really popular pieces. Unfortunately, I look back on them now and feel like I should delete them out of embarrassment at just how low-quality they are to my recent stuff (but hey, I was still relatively new at the photo-editing game at the time). Instead of just deleting them, I'm going to release new "remastered" versions of select images every now and then, beginning with Rebel Spy . This version is inspired by the covers of the 90s-era Star Wars Dark Horse comics (for no other reason other than that I like that aesthetic).     Princess Leia: Rebel Spy REMASTERED on DeviantArt

Daleks Vs. Yolkians

Image
THE YOLKIANS have returned to Earth to pick up a fresh batch of humans for their next sacrificial ritual. However, the egg-like aliens soon discover that Earth has fallen under new ownership since their last visit, and the deadly DALEKS now reign supreme. With an extraterrestrial war soon in full swing, THE ROBOWOMEN and THE YOLKIAN DRONES will do everything in their power to see that their masters are triumphant! It's a no holds barred battle you won't want to miss as winner takes all: the Earth, and their opponent's army of mind-controlled soldiers! Finally, the long-awaited return of the Robowomen! Who do you think would win between these opposing factions? It seemed appropriate to bring Susan and Barbara back as the representatives of the Robowomen, as they were the first subjects of a "mind control" related image I did. Diana and Yvonne were selected to maintain the 1960s sci-fi theme of the poster. Daleks vs. Yolkians on DeviantArt

Invasion of The Yolkians: The Drones #2

Image
The ceremony is mere hours away, and the final preparations are well underway as King Goobot finds himself in the drone storage facility. With the aid of his two most loyal of servants, he begins a manual test to make sure all mind control helmets are functioning to avoid any later "mishaps" which could arise later. "Yes," he quietly murmurs "Poultra will be most pleased with this batch of sacrifices..." Without warning, the sleepy London street was bathed in an eerie yellow and green glow. Clara stopped in her tracks, the strange beam holding her in place before sending her high into the air. Amy glanced up at the starry night, spotting a giant steel spacecraft hovering directly above the alley, opening it's beak-like cannon and capturing her directly in it's emerald spotlight... By the time the Yolkian's native planet comes into view, Clara and Amy have forgotten about their own homeworld of Earth. No longer plagued by thoughts...

Invasion of The Yolkians: The Drones

Image
The strange airships hovered above the city under the cloak of midnight, their emerald tractor beams dancing sporadically like spotlights as they pulled in any human caught in it’s gaze. It cared not who they were or where they came from, as long as their bio-signature deemed them worthy of abduction. By the time the effects of the paralysis ray had worn off, the abductees found themselves on a distant planet populated by gooey green creatures floating in egg-shaped armor. The Yolkians (as they were apparently called) informed their prisoners that they were to be immediately processed for dronification, to join the ranks of their ever-growing army of slaves. Of course, the prisoners protested this, but there was very little they could do as large black and silver helmets were placed upon their heads. In seconds, a steady stream of alien thoughts pour into their minds, ones which instil a sense of loyalty and complete servitude to the Yolkian empire. Yvonne had aspi...

Scarlett Johansson as 1990s Black Widow

Image
I know, I know, I just did a latex Black Widow image a few months ago , but with the movie coming out this week I decided to put her in another costume I really like, one which comes from a painting by Julie Bell for the 1996 Marvel Masterworks series. Amy Pond: Scottish Swashbuckler

Image
Amelia Pond was just the latest in the long line of those who were brave enough to investigate the strange little police box that had mysteriously appeared out of thin air. Upon entry, Amy (like all the others) discovered the box's secret: it was a disguised alien machine capable of traveling anywhere time and space, and it was looking for a new pilot. Amy hesitated, wondering if she should leave the nice life she had started here in Leadworth with her fiancé Rory in favor of adventures across the universe. The realization that the TARDIS was also a time machine made up her mind for her, she could be gone for weeks and be back in seconds, and Rory would never be the wiser. Donning the black rubber suit provided by the ship that hugged her tall figure like a glove, Amy would confront countless menacing creatures threatening the safety of the innocent across the galaxy, but her most recent escapade appears to be her most dangerous: an SOS message sent out across the ...

The Dalek Invasion 2150 AD: Louise

Image
It was Dr. Who's latest and greatest invention yet: Tardis, a machine that traveled both space and time. On the outside, Tardis looked like an ordinary police box, but inside it's surprisingly large interior was a series of complex controls and computers to help navigate the fourth dimension. He was preparing to take his niece Louise for a trip to the London of the future when he suddenly remembered there was a kettle boiling in the kitchen. An accidental touch on the control panel from Louise activated Tardis, leaving it's creator to watch in horror from the doorway of his cottage as the machine let out a wheezing, grinding noise as it slowly faded into the future. Louise pulled back the wooden doors of the police box and stepped out into the world that was nearly 200 years away from her own. Buildings were in shambles, destroyed cars littered the streets, and there wasn't a single person in sight. With no choice but to go out and look for somebody to he...

Lorraine Baines: Decepticon Disciple

Image
It was like something out of a B-movie: aliens from outer space invading some idyllic 1950s American town in the middle of the night, except in this case the aliens weren't little green men from Mars or looked like Michael Rennie, they were robots. The Decepticons (as they would come to be known) were as big as the tallest buildings in Hill Valley, with steel bodies were impervious to any sort of attack the military fired their way, and forced any sort of plan of resistance to quickly dissipate. The townsfolk surrendered without a fight, and herded like cattle into large facilities that these invaders had brought with them. Among the captured stood teenager Lorraine Baines, who like her fellow residents watched in shock and terror as the robots relayed their master scheme. Believe it or not, the quaint little city of Hill Valley, California had been established on a large repository of a strange material called Energon, a form of fuel which the Decepticons survived ...

Jenny: Time Lord In Training

Image
It was during her last year at the Time Lord Academy that Jenny was approached by the elders of Gallifrey for a mission of the utmost importance. A tear in the fabric of the universe had appeared near Earth in the 21st Century, and if not dealt with soon, could have serious ramifications across the timestream. Given a TARDIS of her own, Jenny sets out to investigate this dimensional rip...   (Above): Jenny's red and yellow suit was inspired by the Time Lord Armor she wore in The Lost Dimension comic from 2017. Cara Dune: Showdown On Nevarro

Former Rebel sniper Cara Dune gets ready for a shoot-out against the Empire on the magma-covered landscape of Nevarro. (Above): After receiving criticism for her controversial posts on the HoloNet, the new Emperor *ahem* Chancellor has declined Ms. Dune's request to make latex the standard-issue uniform for the Rangers of The New Republic.
